It’s nearly time for kids to head back to school.
To help moms and dads pay for school supplies and clothes, the state of Arkansas will hold its annual sales tax holiday.
The weekend will begin at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, August 4, and end Sunday, August 5, at 11:59 p.m.
For 48 hours, state and local sales taxes will not be collected on clothing, footwear, school supplies and school instructional materials.
